Exactly, at different points in the day.

Back at home now I feel this doubly.

You can spend a whole weekend with a ready and willing spicket, owning a dog and having a can opener that opens from the outside leaving a safe border. You can talk to neighbors, watch HBO and think about that damned mower that won't start and the grass that won't stop growing. You can "carpool" with co-workers, and worry about how hard you have to kick a soccer ball to cause irreversible damage to vinyl siding, but you know what...

That isn't you yet.

Right now you haven't figured it out, and your car is stuck in someone else's yard. Right now you don't understand that it takes a certain amount of battery juice to start the beeps, and another certain amount to turn the engine.

The reason you don't know this is because when you have run down a battery previously it has been all the way, and when you turned the keys those days there were no beeps... Only panic and a cell phone.

But now you wait patiently for friends to help you diagnose the problem, then you spring into action, and what results is a car back in it's parking spot, and a drive to BWI to pick up returning friends followed by a story ending in an unnecessary apology to someone who knows you well enough not to care.

I guess what I am saying is... life is funny that way.

Life is a kick in the pants and a drawn out ridiculous story all in one, and so are we all.

I like these questions from the public.

So what if I didn't make any sense, or even answer the question.
