Break from the contest...

This is an email I sent to coworkers, after finally realizing the oppressive nature of the recent gas hikes.

Subject: Dear Americans

Lady Liberty doesn't want us to starve.

She told me last night in a dream.

But during this, she also gave me an idea on a way out. In a beam of heaven colored soundwaves she spoke the words "carpool".

Now...
Being the uniter, and not the divider I am, I wanted to ask my fellow city dwellers if they wanted to start a carpooling program that would help to keep us the happy people we should be. We should do this for our pockets. We should do this for our families and friends.

But mostly, we should do this for America.

You're a Grand Old Flag,
You're a high flying flag,
And forever in peace may you wave.
You're the emblem of
The land I love.
The home of the free and the brave.
Ev'ry heart beats true
for the Red, White and Blue,
Where there's never a boast or brag.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
Keep your eye on the grand old flag.

I love you, and this country.
