New Web Idea

I know, my credibility is not at it's highest...

picturesofdrivethrufastfoodattendants.com was not only a relatively useless idea, but also one that wasn't really even that funny.

And I was 110% behind that one... if by 110% I mean that I thought it would be a great idea, but I never actually followed through with it.

This was the idea... go to a drive-thru, and snap a shot of people as they are handing you your bag of fast food. If you are lucky you could catch someone off guard and they would be making a funny face, and if you weren't lucky, no big deal because you could just scarf down your delicious sandwich, and no one would be the wiser. Then... put all of the pictures on a website and have a monthly contest to see who had the best picture, winner would get a t-shirt or something.

Problem:
Not only is this activity kind of demeaning, but also the sort of privacy infringement that this amateur legal expert would have to believe the big companies would be libel to sue over if this got large enough. And it would get huge, because everything is a million dollar idea when it is my idea, and still in my brain.

But this is actually gold I think...(and not at all similar)

Smallpeoplegettingintolargevehicles.com

Now just to be clear, I am not talking about physically handicapped people, because that would not be right. I am talking about taking a photograph of someone who is simply small, getting into a vehicle that is large, having them sign a release, and then submitting it to my website. When I have a few, start my guerrilla marketing campaign (effective but free), get a bunch of people to upload their short people/large vehicle pics, and every month judge on who has the best one. The winner gets a t-shirt or something.

I took a picture of my friend Marlene getting into her son's oversized truck, but unfortunately the picture disappeared from my phone. I didn't have the release ready anyway. Hopefully I can re-take that tomorrow so I can show you what I mean, I am not sure how patient Marlene will be the second time, she wasn't really the first.

More to follow...
